From computing science to financial advice, Phil's journey didn’t take the typical route. Starting his career in 1990 as an IT pro, Phil excelled in the tech industry for more than 10 years before his interest in financial advice came knocking.

Phil started mapping out his financial future the minute he received his first paycheck as a fresh high school graduate in 1989. By mid-2004, Phil’s personal penchant for proactive financial planning became a fully-fledged career with this self-proclaimed ‘hobby’ becoming a way to help others experience success.

From taking client calls to crafting strategic financial advice to coordinating suppliers and more—every task and every decision in Phil’s day-to-day work comes back to one goal: guiding clients toward their aspirations and dreams.

Phil holds a Bachelor of Computing Science, a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, and is a Certified Financial Planner. He thrives on structure and discipline; the perfect combination for turning financial dreams into tangible realities.

Joining forces with his wife, Donna, Phil has built FinFit as a beacon of hope for many where he expertly leads with authenticity, compassion and an unyielding drive to change lives through better financial fitness.

From her early days at Westpac to working in funds management, Donna’s career in the financial services industry spans almost 3 decades. With such vast experience, Donna not only brings an in-depth knowledge of finance to the table but a fiery determination to help clients realise their dreams.

Daily, Donna meets clients from across, including Brisbane and the Gold Coast, she delves deep into their aspirations, provides tailored financial solutions, and liaises with banks to negotiate the best possible outcome on their behalf.

Donna holds a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, a Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, and is a Commissioner for Declarations. She was also a finalist in the Connective Excellence Awards for Allround Broker of the Year in 2017, 2019, and 2022. But the heart of her work isn't about credentials and awards; it's about the people.

Donna cherishes her work guiding clients through their financial journey and building their financial literacy and she prides herself on the relationships she builds. Her vivacious and fun-loving nature combined with her unwavering professionalism perfectly complements Phil’s leadership style at FinFit where they both work to lead the business and its clients to success.

Inspired by his family’s legacy of helping people realise their dreams, Rhys was naturally drawn to a career in financial services. True to this lineage, he joined FinFit, bringing unique flair and youthful exuberance to the team in his role as Senior Credit Analyst.

From meticulously reviewing loans and liaising with banking partners to nurturing relationships with new and existing clients Rhys’s approachable personality shines through in his everyday work at FinFit. With a keen ability to understand and dissect the financial landscape of FinFit’s clients, Rhys is adept at identifying the right solutions to meet their unique needs and aspirations. And ensuring all clients benefit from the best possible interest rates and loan conditions is his number one priority.

Rhys holds a Certificate IV and Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking and is a Commissioner for Declaration. But much more than a skilled analyst, Rhys’s optimism, determination and enthusiasm for sharing in clients' dreams and goals make him a natural partner in their journey and success.
